It can be understood, challenged, and significantly reduced.

Throughout the journey, the book explores the many faces of excessive self-criticism and the ways in which it can restrict freedom, creativity, initiative, authentic expression, relationships, and our overall sense of capability. It examines its connections with fear, control, guilt, shame, internalized voices, the fear of making mistakes, and the tendency to diminish ourselves precisely when we are trying to grow or create something new. As excessive self-criticism is gradually reduced, new possibilities for freedom, self-expression, flexibility, creativity, and fulfillment can begin to emerge.

This is not only a book about understanding excessive self-criticism. It is a practical psycho-creative journey. The chapters gradually move from awareness and recognition toward active inner work: identifying excessive criticism when it appears, learning its different disguises, questioning its seemingly convincing messages, setting boundaries with it, and developing new ways of responding. The questions for self-reflection throughout the book invite readers to turn reading into an ongoing personal process that continues beyond the pages and into everyday life.

The Self-Critic Reduction Journey is one of the foundational paths of the Psycho-Creative approach: a path toward reducing an inner force that too often makes us smaller, more fearful, and less free than we can be. Its central message is both simple and deeply hopeful: excessive self-criticism is not fate. We can gradually reduce its influence and create more space for our natural creativity, freedom, initiative, and authentic expression.

Free Download the book here: Self-Critic Reduction Journey

The complete book is available here in the Psycho-Creative Library and can be downloaded free of charge.
