I am a certified psychiatrist.
I got my diploma in Israel after years of practice and work in mental health hospitals.
But I view psychiatry, especially for the light-medium level of severity cases, from a different point of view than most of my colleagues.
I do treat people with psychiatric issues (mainly anxiety and depression) without using chemical medications and my success rate is pretty high.
I usually do not ask my clients to stop or reduce current medical treatment and I may consider gradual medical changes only after a long time if I am certain that the individual is ready for this and has developed the appropriate mental skills and forces to handle his challenges on his own.
I only treat patients who I find suitable for my approach, that is — are able to do the psycho-creative work I give them during sessions and are also able to do the home practice I ask them to do. In other words: are ready for a change.
I assess their readiness to get my help during an introduction meeting.
Overall, my approach begins with the understanding that many mental issues represent general imbalance and personality exhaustion, mostly due to a lifestyle that leads eventually to serious mental burnout. This burnout should be exposed and treated into a change that serves as a direct healing answer to the major presented problem. I am happy to say that such a process is doable, in many cases, yet always requires time, work, and commitment.
I do all my clinical work through video meetings (zoom,) in English or Hebrew.
We can do this no matter where you are, as long as you can join me in the healing journey I am offering you.
Each session is one hour long and is $290.
