Component #3: Emotional Creativity

Emotional creativity is a most important component of the Psycho-Creative language, and here we are invited to actually “talk” our emotional energy via the friendly and therapeutic route of the emotional-creativity. This is the place where we put aside our self-judgment, our expectations, our demand for specific “results” and allow our emotions, all of them with no exception, to flow freely through the creative outlet we choose, like and prefer.

In the eyes of the Psycho-Creative Language emotional-creativity is essential in maintaining emotional as well as spiritual inner balance that manifests the endless motion and changes that characterize the emotional realm and, in fact, all that there is. Emotions “need” intuitive-spontaneous-free-uncensored route to flow through, and once blocked from this, tension grows together with various emotional problems that could be avoided or minimized if emotional-creativity routine had been in place.

Emotional-creativity can be implemented through many kinds of intuitive creations: Intuitive Painting, Intuitive writing, Intuitive dancing etc.
Usually it will require a proper combination of boundaries (time limits, material limits, and other ways to frame the action) and at the same time total freedom to do within the boundaries, whatever come to mind, with no fear of doing “wrong” or “inappropriate.”

For example: Fill a whole page with colors (boundary) but do it any way you want and like (freedom); Write a whole page until its bottom (boundary) and you can write whatever you like, it will always be okay. Put a “dancy” song you like in high volume and dance as crazy and as free as you can (freedom) and stop when the song ends (baundary.)

For us to implement all other components of the Psycho-Creative language we need to have some routine emotional-creativity practice and experience, where we give ourselves the room to release the emotional energy safely and wildly thereby creating in us the “vehicle” to travel our spiritual spaces and to gain the courage to transform our conflicts.
