Psycho-Creative Coaching

Psycho-Creative-Coaching (PCC) was developed by Dr. Pinkie Feinstein, a psychiatrist, psychotherapist, and the developer of the Intuitive Painting method.
PCC is a short-term process (10 meetings) based on the psycho-creative principles and is focused on establishing a direct and uninterrupted connection between the emotional experience and specific spontaneous creative outputs (in writing, the Psycho-Creative exercises) that enable transformation of emotional tension into creative flow.

The Psycho-Creative exercises that are used during the PCC session serve both as diagnostic tools as well as therapeutic ones. Generally, the flow of the PCC sessions has many qualities of a game with many surprises and unpredicted turns, which allows significant involvement of the Right brain instead of the usual over-analytic over-dominant Left brain in the work.

One of the most important components of PCC is the broad use of intuition, by the coach, in deciding about the kind and the content of the Psycho-Creative exercises during the session. This is always done in real-time with no option to plan it beforehand.

The main contribution of PCC to the clients is the significant increase in their sense of ability to creatively and flexibly cope with their challenges.
Another important characteristic of PCC is the pleasure of the coach, in doing this work. This pleasure is never a coincidence — it is a mandatory part of the process and a central indication of doing good work with the client.
