The Psycho-Creative Principle

The Psycho-Creative Principle, in which upon it all the psycho-creative abundant knowledge and skills have developed is about the direct and crucial connection between the “psycho” and the “creative” and most of the time we may say it is the “emotional” and the “creative.”

This principle determines that these two are a kind of polarized-complementary couple (similar to the “yin-yang”) that in many ways represent the healthy back and forth motion of energy from the experiencing inward aspect of being (“psycho”) and the expressing outward aspect of the same energy (“creative”) and back.

The main important message in this principle is that emotions “need,” constantly spontaneous, free from criticism, and easy creative expression in order to maintain their inner flow and to transform their natural built-up tension into a productive and helpful flow.

In other words — emotions, that origin from Right Brain, contain energy that cannot be handled solely by “reason and talking” (Left Brain,) must have a channel that “speaks their language” (creativity.) Otherwise, much of their messages and power will remain inside, causing more stress, anxiety and obsession. These phenomena represent a state where the emotional energy stay stuck in the head because it wasn’t “transported” properly through the heart, through the creative non-criticized outlet.

The main mechanism of Psycho-Creative Coaching (PCC) is made of cyclic interactions that constantly shift from the “psycho” to the “creative” and back, in a way that makes sure that emotions, apart from being shared verbally, have an immediate non-criticized creative flow (through writing exercises.) This oscillation between the “psycho” and the “creative” is the hallmark of the method and the main reason for its high usefulness.
